Yeah...that's right...it was a jeep cherokee...which is still a soccer mom car...and you winch doesn't change the fact that you were stuck...and had your winch been hooked up...you still would have been stuck...granted...you may have been able to tie the winch to something and undo yourself...but given the angle we were at your brother's car was all that was in front of us...

oh how quickly we forget....i was facing the opposite direction, towards the street, i would have been able to hook onto anything, in the vicinity, given me just enough boost to move a half inch and i was out, if you will remember, that jeep cherokee didn't hardly have to move to get me out, i just needed a bit of a boost, but yes, i was stuck at that time,
now, before furthy confusion insues, my definition of being stuck is when it is no longer possible to get your vehicle out without the help of another vehicle...ie, using my winch to become "unstuck" from the mud by connecting it to a tree or iron pole as opposed to another vechile is not considered stuck.
but yes, i was stuck at that point, although i truly believe that given more time, a bit warmer weather and not being under such extreme pressure, i would have gotten it out.
